- Play
Chooses a file to play. It uses your own MP3 player, just as Windows Explorer does when you double-click a file.
- Add a BPM
Will add a BPM to the file, according to the options set.
- Delete BPM
Will delete the BPM from the file, according to the options set.
- Replace BPM
Will replace the BPM from the file, according to the options set.
- Rename
Here you can freely rename a file.
- Edit tags
Launches embedded editor for (some of) the ID3v2 info of an MP3 file.
You will be able to eventually copy the info from ID3v1.
Add to last
Will add the BPM from the BPM panel to the last played file, according to the options set.
Delete from last
Will delete the BPM from the last played file, according to the options set.
Replace in last
Will replace the BPM in the last played file, according to the options set.
Reset
This will reset the BPM in the BPM panel to zero. It is the same as pushing the reset button on the panel.
Options
- Set music directory
Choose a folder from which you get the easiest to your music files saving you a lot of needless repeated searching for your music folder.
- Irregular beat detection
It will give an error if you type too irregularly or miss a beat. Strongly recommended to leave this ON.
- Reset before play
It will reset the BPM on the panel each time you launch a file. Recommended to leave this ON, certainly when processing complete folders.
- BPM in file...
This pops up an important option window. It lets you choose how a BPM will be added to a file name and/or tag.
Study and set these options as wished before you start editing lots of files.
- Affect tag/name/both
These menu items provide shortcuts to switch quickly between the options which were provided too in the option window.
Big background
You can choose an image to put on the main background of this software.
Panel background (show/hide)
You optionally can hide the BPM panel background. This together with the big background option you can create cool effects.
